Ski Run Marina is a landmark.
Mansoor Elie Alyeshmerni has been actively involved in commercial real estate development and neighborhood revitalization programs for the last forty years. He came to America from Iran in 1957. He was a lecturer at the University of Minnesota and Carleton College for 30 years before moving to Los Angeles, where he currently lives with his wife, Siona. They have 4 children that work in medicine, real estate and the Justice Department and the Department of Transportation. Elie became passionate about Lake Tahoe in early 2000, before buying Ski Run Marina in 2003.
Elie's vision was to make Ski Run Marina more visitor friendly while protecting the lake at the same time. The renovation of the harbor that was completed in 2008 made it possible for the water in the harbor to be the cleanest ever. Thus Ski Run Marina is once again becoming a hub of activities in South Lake Tahoe. A place full kids having fun, great art, great shopping, fabulous food, great boating and fishing and a proximity to nature that you can't feel anywhere else. An inviting place to come and enjoy some"TahoeTime." A place not to rush, but a place to linger and enjoy yourself and create lasting memories. The transformation has started and with the continued support from the South lake Tahoe community, Ski Run Marina will be a jewel on the shores of Lake Tahoe again.
